With combined jury and consumer votes, competition winners have being nominated in each attending country.
The voting has being going on strongly throughout the whole competition and the organizers would like to thank each and every person who have voted their favorite bands in different phases. All together there have already being over 500000 visitors up to date on the Urband Playrgound competition site – and this includes people from almost every country on earth!
The winning band in Finland is Prime Time Violence, with total of 12 000 cleared votes which were collected mainly through this website, but as well during the onsite finals by individual SMS messages and written voting leaflets. A big thank belongs to all of those who game to support the bands at the designated city finals.
As a price, in addition to the Roland’s 1000 € product voucher, winning band’s single will be shortly released by SonyBMG. In addition to the single, each country winner’s track will be included into an URBAND PLAYGROUND ROCKS Vol.1 compilation album – which will be released within all attending markets during the upcoming June. In addition to the winner tracks, upcoming album will present several other carefully selected SonyBMG band tracks.
The happy consumer winner who won the Qashqai for 14 days in Finland was Sari Huttunen from Helsinki and the Micro BR digital recording device presented by Roland will be mailed to Tuomas Inkiläinen from Jyväskylä.
